Oracclle can confirm that the president, Muhammadu Buhari who is billed to travel on Wednesday, 10th May to the UK to continue is medical treatment may have scummed to pressure to resign owing to his protracted illness.
Sources from the Presidency indicates that the president had a meeting earlier in the week with three former heads of state, Ibrahim Babangida, Adbusalami Abubakar and
Olusegun Obasanjo where he confidently expressed his willingness to
relinquish power to vice president Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
Buhari who has decided to resign so as to take care of his ailing health is fully aware of the consequence of his actions, the president is fully abreast that his resignation will create a vacuum for the North not to finish their conventional eight years tenure for the second time after the late president Musa Yar'Adua. Therefore, he has set up a three man committee made up of the above named three former heads of State to press on Osibanjo to sign an agreement that he will not run for Presidency in 2019 should he(Buhari ) hand over power to him. Our source has it that the president have learnt from the Obasanjo-Jonathan one term agreement saga and has insisted that Osibanjo must seal the agreement in a written signed document which will be read out to Nigerians together with Buhari's resignation letter on the 29th of May (Democracy Day ).

Our source, who
spoke on the condition of anonymity explained however, that there is
some degree of confusion as to who is chosen to deputise Osinbajo.
In
his words; “At this point, it is obvious that Mr. President does not
have the capacity to continue as the president due to his health which
is not improving since his return from medical vacation in the UK, and
if you must know, age is not on his side which makes it absolutely
necessary for him to take time out to concentrate on his health for
Nigeria to move forward.”
He further explained that the issue of who becomes the VP to Osinbajo is what the leaders are currently debating.

The
problem the cabal has against Kwankwaso is that they believe he is over
ambitious and would be difficult to be put under any form of control if
he eventually becomes the VP and subsequently the President in 2019,” he
concluded.
As it stands, Tambuwal is
more favoured as being more cool-headed, considering his network as an
ex-speaker which spreads across the 36states of the federation and
breaks through political party barriers. He is seen as someone who could
bridge the gap created by North/South socio-political dichotomy.
Musa
Kwankwaso on the other hand, could also enjoy the endorsement of the
national leader of the APC, Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is said not to be
in good relationship with Aminu Tambuwal at the moment.
Sources
close to Tinubu opined that it will be very difficult, if not totally
impossible for Tinubu to support Tambuwal to become the vice president
considering the role he allegedly played in frustrating the Speakership
bid of Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, who was Tinubu’s candidate as against the
current speaker, Hon. Yakubu Dogara.
In
the coming days, the political history of Nigeria will be taking a
different turn if all the calculations, permutations and speculations
become reality, as the issue of who becomes the VP is as important as
who becomes the APC Presidential candidate in 2019.
I wonder why the North think it is a right to clinch to power for eight years. After all Jonathan was ousted by them after one tenure so if God for the second time have decided to give the two years out of a four year term. Who are they to question the workings of the Almighty?
The question now is will Pastor, Professor Osibanjo agree to such evil arrangement? Will he allow the Cabal put him in such tight conner?

As
political pundits continue to analyse and watchers speculate, one can
only wish that this whole health issue of the president is handled with
utmost political diplomacy so as not to plunge the nation into a
constitutional quagmire, so that there will be no need to be invoke the
“doctrine of necessity” to put the nation on the right track again.
