Dr. Betta Edu commissions 13KVA brand new generator for comprehensive Health Center in Ikom


Director Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr Betta Edu last week at Comprehensive Health Centre Ikom commissioned a 13 KVA Mikano Generator donated to the facility which serves as the hub in the fight against HIV & AIDS in Ikom and it's environs.
Commissioning the plant, Dr Betta Edu Stated that AHF has done a lot to improve services around HIV and AIDS, Prevention, treatment, sensitization, community outreach around Ikom and it environ.

She said the Agency did not hesitate to approve their appeal for an office space at CHC, because of their resolve and commitment to work with State Government to see that quality healthcare is delivered to the people.
"We have no regrets over the office space relinquish to your organization as part of our own little support for the project to run smoothly said the DG.

She thanked them for their assistance during the last Maternal Newborn and Child Health Week where a lot of their services was part of the activities in LGAs of their coverage.
Dr Edu noted that His Excellency, Senator ( Prof) Ben Ayade and honorable Commissioner for health, Dr Inyang Asibong is pleased with their contributions to Primary Healthcare revitalization and grateful for this support. She further stated that this would boost client influx and patient confidence in our facility.
Earlier speaking, State Clinical Coordinator Aids Healthcare Foundation, Dr Okebugun Andrew said the 13KVA Mikano Generator is an appreciation of their partnership and resolve to improve the health system in Cross River State.
He went further to state that there are in Cross River to prevent, provide treatment, care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS and are present in Ikom, Etung, Yakurr, Obanliku and Bekwarra.
Present at the commissioning were Mrs Rosemary Nyambi, DG CRSACA, Director of PHC CRSPHCDA, Dr Ana Onebiene, Director Administration CRSPHCDA, Pastor Dan Effiom, PHC Coordinator and PHC Doctor for Ikom etc.
