APC and Diary of a regime of blame games

|04th January, 2018| Samuel Ajayi

In case you have forgotten...

* Fuel Scarcity of 2015: This started in September 2015 and lasted till the January of 2016 when the price was jerked up to N145. They lied to Nigerians that subsidy had been removed. In 2017, this rudderless government claimed it was NNPC that was paying subsidy and not government.

'Blamant': PDP that stole all the money. Therefore, no money to pay for subsidy.

*Failure of EFCC: I wrote as far back as October 2015 that with the way EFCC was going, it won't get a single conviction. Two years on, it has not. In fact, it is as confused as the government under which it is serving.
Blamant: Judiciary that was frustrating anti-corruption war. They gave money to judges.

Failure to hold FEC Meetings: When the sickness of Buhari was still being papered over, FEC meetings were being canceled every week.
Blamant: Office of the SGF that didn't prepare papers and civil servants that went in holidays. They ate too much and forgot to resume for duty.

Maina's Reinstatement: The former Pensions boss was brought back into service only to be eased out after public outcry.
Blamant: PDP elements remaining in government. They got the Attorney-General's letter head to write the Head of Service to reinstate Maina.

Magu's Non-confirmation: Buhari nominated Magu as EFCC boss but a damaging report by DSS sealed his fate.
Blamant: Corruption was fighting back using the National Assembly and the DSS.

Fuel Scarcity of 2017: Like joke, we have been groaning under fuel scarcity all through the festive period.
Blamant: Marketers, Baru (NNPC boss), Kachikwu and so on. Oh...and those out to sabotage the "good works" of Saint Buhari.

Appointment of Dead People: People who were long dead found their names in board appointments.
Blamant: Office of the SGF and PDP sympathizers who 'inserted' those names.

Until next year election, Buhari will NEVER BE AWARE OF ANYTHING HAPPENING IN HIS GOVERNMENT. OTHERS WILL ALWAYS BE RESPONSIBLE.
Asira oja gbaa.
