Yes We Can! With IBOK, we can make the Difference

The time is here again, where the great people of Akpabuyo, Bakassi and Calabar South (ABC) are faced with the decision of choosing a representative.

A time when many come out with great dreams and aspirations of representation, but only a few successfully reach the finish line.
As we approach 2019, the great people of ABC are yet again faced with a hard decision of choosing who will effectively represent them at the hallowed Green Chambers, many have come to them with sweet sugarcoated tongue of convincing words out of their mastery of the art of great speeches, while some have will approach my people with large sums of money to solve their hunger needs temporarily.

For me, I don't think good oratory skilla without a clear cut and well achievable blueprint will make for effective representation, neither is the goal of leaders limited to dashing out of money to meet temporary needs of the people. Rather the goal of leadership is to influence the people towards self emancipation while you create ample opportunities for the people to work and earn a living, thereby not just solving the temporary needs but solving them permanently.

The season we as a people are approaching, is a season of great choices that will shape the future of our generation and that of ABC. It is obvious that in times like this, people are thrown into confusion of choice because promises have been made and broken in time past. However, there is a possibility of one man that can make the difference, and that one man is IBOK.

The man Austin Ibok is a young, energetic, charismatic, kindhearted, humble, humorous, well mannered, competent and purpose driven leader who is ready to serve and take his people to a new pedestrian of self emancipation.
For me the name IBOK speaks for himself, because IBOK as an acronym simply mean:
I- Innovatively intelligent
B- Bold
O- open hearted
K- knowledgeable

No great fiat can be achievable without an innovative mind coming to the fore. IBOK is a leader par excellence who has demonstrated his innovative nature at various instance in his leadership journey, one of such instance that beats my imagination is his ability to raise Labour party from a place of insignificance to a party that the likes of Prince Bassey Otu, Jeddy Agba, and many other prominent politicians could identify with. The man IBOK has demonstrated high level of intelligence even in his present job as SA inter- Party. You will agree with me that it takes an intelligent and innovative person to relate with people who have different ideologies and views.

Those who know IBOK very well, will tell you IBoK is bold and courageous, he is young and full of vigor and tenacity, a very helpful ingredient in political leadership especially as a representative, with such spirit, you will confront anybody needed to be confronted if need be to get both projects and other allocations due the people you represent.

Open hearted
According to Leadership expert, John C. Maxwell, "Nothing speaks to others more loudly or serves them better than generosity from a leader. True generosity isn't an occasional event. It comes from the heart and permeates every aspect of a leader's life, touching his or her time, money, talents and possessions."

IBOK's  kindheartedness has made him touch and improve people's life and welfare across borders irrespective of tribe, languages or political lining.

IBOK is not just open hearted in given, but his mind is also open to new information that will improve and add value to humanity.

IBOK is not just Knowledgeable in the dynamics of politicking but has demonstrated high level of intelligence influencing people to access information as well as ability to attract projects and and other allocations to his constituents.

As an addition, as we all know knells before God will not lack leadership wisdom to lead his people on the right track. The IBOK I know is a genuine lover and addict follower of God who have always knelt before God right from his days in school. As the saying goes, when the righteous rule... Please complete it for me.

IBOK's love and reverence for God may just be the magic wand that has kept him soaring high. And it that is the magic wand every true leader needs to posses.

He possesses the right mental, moral character and capacity to represent the people; he is a mixture of hot and cold. He lightens the mood with jokes when necessary but also pays adept attention when need be....that is to say,he listens to people (young and old) This quality of his is a rare quality, being an orator as well as a good listener. This indeed is a leadership quality.

His observant nature will help him to notice the ills in his constituency as well as tackle them; for someone who has the spirit of mentorship, he will go a long way in Devising means that will take the youths off the streets thereby curbing, if not eliminating social vices.

We are now in an era where the question is no longer the age but the ability and antecedent; for someone who has gone through some scuffles in life, he understands what it means to be in the position of the people.
He represents a new breed;young at heart with a passion for aged, downtrodden and the voiceless people in various Communities.

He has a vision and he is on a mission to restore hope for the youths;enthrone political equity and justice for Nigerian society through legislative processes.

Above all, he seeks to reinvigorate the concept of leadership and good governance to our polity.

If records are inspected, it could be seen that the mantle of leadership did not change his person after he got a political appointment rather he has remained the same kindhearted and competent IBOK he is known to be... This means that if entrusted with a bigger tax, he would do more... IBOK has been tested and trusted therefore he is the credible alternative.

IBOK is not just pursuing an ambition, he is representing his family, kinsmen, clan, town, constituency and CROSS RIVERIANS in general.

Who deserves this mantle better than the man of the people?

On the 5th of November, 2008 The 45th President of the United States of America Barack Obama, while delivering his victory speech said

"This is our chance to answer that call. This is our moment. This is our time, to put our people back to work and open doors of opportunity for our kids; to restore prosperity and promote the cause of peace; ...And where we are met with cynicism and doubts and those who tell us that we can't, we will respond with that timeless creed that sums up the spirit of a people: Yes we can!"
Yes with Austin Ibok, we can change the ABC communities.
