Breaking News: HIT FM's Golden Girl, IMA, Turns Back On The Station

| 08 March 2018| Ukorebi Esien

Information reaching our news desk has it that an on air personality and radio presenter with Calabar Premier urban radio station, HIT FM, miss Chidinma Udeh popularly known as IMA hit the red button when she tendered her resignation letter late last weekend.

Miss Udeh who plays host on the radio program "The Late Morning Show"  (late mornings with IMA) is said to have had a valedictory presentation last week Thursday where she informed her fans that she is gone for good and will never be heard on the station again.

According to an insider,  Miss Ima's resignation borders on 'issues she had with an overbearing production manager.' The insider who pleaded anonymity revealed that 'The issues initially bothered on her rebuff of the guy, after he made passes at her. Now, since she turned him down, he made life hellish for her and often threatened to throw her off the job, not minding how so professional she has been'. He said

'He will from time to time, put greenhorns on her show'.  He added.

Shocking revelations has it that Ima is more of a professional than the said production manager as long as the broadcasting job is concern.

lma is said to be a graduate of Mass Communication  from University of Nigeria,  Nsuka UNN, while HIT FM's production manager read Botany.

Efforts made to reach out to Ima as at press time proofed abortive as she did not reply chats from our correspondent.

If nothing is done to bring Ima back to the station,  her fans will definitely miss her tantalizing voice that keeps them company in the late mornings both at home and work.
