Ayade signs N54bn MOU with South Korean firm

The Cross State Government has signed a $150m Memorandum of Understanding MoU with a South Korean firm for the construction of an Industrial Park in Calabar.

According to a statement by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Industrialization Matters, Hon. Bobby Ekpenyong, the Industrial Park will warehouse about 23 industrial and other facilities such as school, hospital and residential building and recreational facilities.

Ekpenyong said the signing of the MoU is in compliance with Governor Ayade's promises to transform the state from a civil service dependent state to a self sufficiency through industrial revolution.

The Special Adviser noted that Governor Ayade has proven that the state is viable and capable of attracting foreign investment, stressing that the state must give the young virile  digital governor the opportunity to put the state on a right footing for speedy development.

He called on the state citizens to give that governor an opportunity to do a second term in office to enable him to consolidate on all the great works that he has done.
