APC electoral congresses to determine Owan's political ambition - Richard Romanus

A social Media cum political commentator, Mr. Richard Romanus has taken a long view into the political future of Senator John Owan Enoh, senator representing central Cross River in the upper chambers, predicting that the outcome of the ongoing nationwide  electoral congresses by the All Progressive Congress APC, will be a major determining factor as to whether the senator will contest the forthcoming elections.

According to the young commentator, Owan had once revealed that he doesn't contest elections he isn't sure of winning, with this background, Mr. Romanus postulated that the distinguished senator may end up not running for any office base on the fact that Minister Usani Usani has both the political number and connections to manipulate and hijack the congress in the state.

Richard also opined that Usani can easily blackmail Owan's camp at the national with the fact that does on Owan's camp are majorly desatisfied decampees from PDP who are now seeking to hijack the structure of a party they did not suffer for.

Mr. Romanus statement reads in full:

' I can tell you guys for free that the outcome of the ongoing congresses by the APC would determine whether Senator John Owan Enoh would contest an election or not.

If he indicates any interest for any position, be it, Governor, as widely speculated or Senate, be rest assured that he is sure of victory BUT if he doesn't, let no man deceive you, it is because of the lost out in the Congresses. Don't forget, he has once said, he doesn't contest any election he would not win.

The battle for the Soul of APC in Cross River State between Pastor Usani Usani and Senator John Owan Enoh is basically about who fly the party's gubernatorial ticket and nothing more.

The camp of the Honorable Minister of Niger Delta may at the end of the day emerge victorious not because they are in the majority but because the other camp is largely made up of erstwhile PDP members who only joined APC when things were no longer rosy in their former party. I see Pastor Usani Uguru Usani leveraging on his contact in Abuja to blackmail them or an attempt to hijack the party from its original members.

Like I said a few days ago if they are anything Pastor Usani has going for him is his consistency in whatever he believes in, loyalty to Amaechi and above all the fact that Chief Tunde Oyegun led NWC of APC was allowed to conduct the congresses. The truth is, I see the Oyegun camp taking the upper hand at the end of the day. The outcome of the congresses in States like Imo, Rivers, and Lagos where the National Organising Secretary of the APC, Senator Osita Ozinaso, the minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and the National Legal Adviser of the party, Barr Banire are holding sway is a clear indicator.

Wetin concern me for APC matter sef!'
