Again Buhari lost Own Poll to Atiku as Sowore crashes out



In recent online polls conducted shortly after the Buhari's Administration celebrated its third year in office, former Vice President and leading presidential hopeful of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has handed President Muhammadu Buhari a defeat.


In an online poll conducted by the president's (Buhari) own consultant.

A number of polls promoted by pro-Buhari influencers sprung up shortly after the administration marked its third anniversary on May 29.

In the first poll conducted by Mark Essien via his Twitter handle @markessien, Atiku polled 43 percent while Buhari trailed him with 35 percent, Prof. Kingsley Moghalu polled 15% while Omoleye Sowore was seen crashing out with 7%  of the entire votes

In the second poll conducted by @YNaija, Atiku got 70 percent as against Buhari's 19 percent. The other participants in the poll, Prof. Kingsley Moghalu, and Mr. Fela Durotoye polled 6 percent and 5 percent respectively. (See link

The poll, which commenced May 29 and ended 11:00 p.m., June 1, asked respondents: "Which of them will have your vote if you had to vote today?"

At the end of the voting, of 7,444 respondents, seven out of every 10 respondents representing about 5,210 settled for Atiku compared to Buhari's 1,414; Moghalu's 446 and Durotoye's 372.
