Abi/Yakurr 2019: Jerome will make a good representative - constituent

Comr. Jerome addressing constituents during consultation visit in Ekureku ward

Comrade Engr. Jerome Egbe, KSM a strong contender for the House of Representative seat to represent Abi/Yakurr Federal constituency in the green chambers has began a vigorous consultation tour in all the over 20 council wards of the constituency to seek their support as he guns for the federal job.

The former student leader first took his teeming supporters and campaign team to Ekureku ward where he met with stakeholders.
As at press time, the consultation tour was still ongoing as other wards are yet to be touched.

Speaking with our reporter, a constituent from Yakurr revealed to TDN that, it is only comrade Jerome Egbe the Yakurr people know, and they are solidly behind him as they believe in his capacity to be an effective representative.

The constituent who said based on his political status, he is an automatic delegate went on to state that as a student leader, comrade Egbe had demonstrated a high level of commitment to his then immediate constituents (students) and as such they believe if given the mandate just as he was outspoken then, he will also be outspoken to attract Federal government and international presence to the constituency.

The House of Representative hopeful is rumoured to be the only threat to the speaker, Cross River State House of Assembly who is also contesting for the same seat.

Engr. Egbe's aspirations and recent consultation moves has received backings and accolades from many constituents, below are just few of such:

We are solidly behind you. Our prayers and support will surely come to pass for your victory is sure.
