Student body condoles with Rt. Hon. Francis Asuquo on mother's demise.

A coalition of students from Cross River State Southern Senatorial district has paid a condolence visit to Rt. Hon Francis Asuquo on the demise of his mother.

 

 

The students who were majorly leaders of various student associations from southern Cross River State comprise of National Association of  Odukpani Students led by the worldwide president, Miss Valentina Ndareke, National Association of Bakassi Students worldwide led by Mr. Fedrick and Southern Cross River State Students worldwide, led by Hilary Ntui socriss.

 

 

Narrating the circumstances that surrounded his mother's death, Hon. Asuquo said he was happy that it wasn't the other way round, because it is only normal for a child to bury his parent.

 

He said his mother who was sound and healthy flew in from Abuja to attend a burial only for her to slum and that led to the process of her death.

 

He thereafter appreciated the student leaders for the visit and thanked them for the show of love as he encouraged them to be focused in their studies which he said was the ultimate goal as student, stating that they have what it takes to take advantage of the recently signed not to young to run law if only they will be committed to becoming better citizens by shunning violence and negative acts capable of truncating their future.

 

The high point of the visit was a presentation of condolence messages from the various groups present and a group photograph.
