You can't deter me nor fracture my relationship with Ayade, Agara replies Ifere Paul

A front line senatorial aspirant for Central Senatorial District of Cross River State and business tycoon, Bar, Chris Agara has totally abnegated recent rumours especially the one being peddled by Mr. Ifere Paul in a recent publication on social media accusing him of ordering the retrieval of equipments from the just commissioned Cross River state Rice Seed and Seedlings Factory for none payment of money(s) invested into the factory.

Bar Agara made his position known in a press statement issued by his media team. According to the statement, the Senatorial hopeful while denying the allegation went on to describe it as an unrealistic attempt to mar his 25 years old relationship with the digital governor of Cross River State, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade.

"The article is nothing but an attempt by Ifere and his paymasters to cause a rift between the duo whose relationship has gone beyond friendship to brotherhood and dates as far back as 25 years".

Bar Agara went further to state that he is aware that in a political climate like the one which we are currently in, it is expected for political enemies and detractors to peddle with rumours in a bid to score cheap political points, he quickly added that no amount of Image smearing by political opponents will deter him from pursuing his aspiration nor sever his relationship and support for the Governor Ben Ayade's leadership in the state

The statement reads in full:

The attention of Barr Chris Agara, a front line Senatorial aspirant for Central Senatorial District of Cross River state has been drawn to a libelous article written by one Ifere Paul claiming that Barr Agara has ordered the removal of machines from the Rice Seedling and seed factory, one of Governor Ben Ayade numerous projects over the inability of the Governor to refund the sum of two billion Naira of his personal resources he staked for the procurement of equipment for the factory.

Cross Riverians must know that the Businessman and politician have no idea of what the writer is talking about neither was he ever been approached by the governor to make any form of financial commitment right from the commencement of the project to the day it was commissioned by Mr. President.

They must also be aware that the article is nothing but an attempt by Ifere and his paymasters to cause a rift between the duo whose relationship has gone beyond friendship to brotherhood and dates as far back as 25 years.

In Ifere Paul's bid to drive home his unfounded lies, he indirectly alluded to the fact that, Barr Chris Agara indeed is a man of integrity. Those who know the man Chris Agara and the enviable position he has attained in the business world, can attest to the fact that, only a man of integrity can attain such height. This explains the overwhelming popularity and acceptance in his Senatorial aspiration.

Even though, we are not unmindful of the fact that we are in an electioneering era where politicians do all manner of things including sponsoring all manner of articles against their opponents just to score cheap political points but it is instructive to note that, Barr Chris Agara is a decent man who plays decent politics and will not be hoodwinked into playing dirty politics that has always been the case in our dear State and Senatorial District.

Finally, let it be known that no amount of fake and unfounded stories will fracture the relationship both men share and Barr Chris Agara will continue to stand by his friend, support him and help him achieve the Cross River State of his dreams.

In a related development, Mr. Emmanuel Ulayi a media aide to the governor of Cross River state Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade had issued a statement denying the rumors being spread by Mr. Paul Ifere as regards the removal of equipment from the rice seedling factory by creditors.

Mr. Ulayi who described Ifere as a man who has the propensity to lie and also the unofficial mouthpiece of an inept and clueless opposition in the state said the act is an infantile but fruitless attempts to detract the government from what is clearly a major achievement of the Ayade's led administration by the opposition party in the state who are not happy that the President honored Ayade's invitation to commission the rice seedling factory.

Mr. Ulayi did not only stop there but went ahead to upload pictures of the rice factory with all it's equipment intact with the caption "This is the situation at Cross River Rice Seedlings City this morning  and all equipment are intact and safe"

Below are some of the pictures upload by Mr. Ulayi.
