Passion for service and Pity for my People are my propelling forces - Lebo Lebo

Mr. Edu Lebo Lebo, an aspirant for the seat of House of Representative to represent Abi/Yakurr constituency in the National Assembly has said that his aspiration for the office is backed by his passion for service and pity for his people who he said had been neglected in the past by their leaders.

Speaking with TDN, Lebo who is also the state coordinator of All Political Support Groups for Ben Ayade in Cross River State said his passion for his people and for service is the central motivation to seek a place in the National Assembly.

He decried the neglect shown by occupants of influential positions whom he said have had opportunities to bring relief and succor to the challenges and hardship faced by the people who have constituted some level of menace to the society as a result of neglect but have selfishly refused to do so.

According to him; "I see pains in the faces of my people and I have over the years developed pity for them, because those that should have come to their rescue have neglected them. They have the position and the power to assist my people but selfishness have blinded their eyes towards the plight and sufferings of the people. The desire to be their errand boy which I have always been is what is pushing me to contest".

The grassroot politician said he banks his fate on the trust he has gathered from the people as an errand boy.
"I am here to run errands for my people, to stand as a bridge between the aged and the young, between the rich and the poor, to provide great opportunities for the young people to be accommodated in governance and government policies and decision making process." Lebo said.

Lebo also revealed that his victory at the poll will be a major source of hope and strength to the young people because " Everybody knows that If Lebo makes, they can also make it".

The National Assembly hopeful highlighted Job creation, Scholarship, human empowerment and development and the resolutions of the many boundary issues facing the constituency as the cardinal part of his manifesto.

"I given the Opportunuty to serve my people, I will sponsor bills that will be of great help to our people". He concluded.
