Automatic Ticket: Please don't deffect, I will refund your Forms Expenses, Ayade appeal to aggrieved aspirants

Following information gathered from CrossRiverDaily, The digital governor of Cross River state, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade is in a fixed as key members of his party, the People's Democratic Party PDP have threatened to withdraw from the party over the automatic ticket arrangement for National Assembly members as decided by the Party's National Working Committee.

It was gathered that Governor, Benedict Ayade is pleading with National Assembly aspirants of his party, PDP who are threatening to abandon the party as the governor confirmed the party's position to them.

According to our source Ayade, while conveying the arrangement from The National Working Committee of the party to expressed worry over his second term ambition, stating that if all the aggrieved aspirants leaves the party, his chances of winning his 2019 governorship bid would be decrease beyond; hence, appealed that he was going to refund all expenses they must have incurred in purchasing the party's nomination and expression of interest form.

CRD also reported that the governor's offer did not go down well with the aggrieved aspirants as some of them howled at the governor, demanding to know whether the governor was also going to foot the overall cost they have incurred since they stepped into the race.


What still remains unclear is whether PDP Cross River State will domesticate this arrangement by issuing automatic tickets to all her incumbent House of Assembly members seeking re-election.
