According to the Professor of geology, he has a mandate to rebuild Cross River and rescue it from its present state of colossal quandary. He said Agriculture, Youth Empowerment, Tourism, Economy development, security, and infrastructure will be the mainstay of his administration if given the mandate to lead the state.

He has on several occasions called on Cross Riverians world over to join hands with him to rebuild Cross River State. Only recently the Buhari Youth Organization, BYO had adopted the veteran has their candidate come 2019 and many more support groups are said to be warming up to officially declare their stands for him.

Professor Nyong is said to have enjoyed the goodwill of Cross Riverians as he has contested for the governorship stool in the past for over three times and in each contest, he is always rumored to have won the election but not for the power play and rigging that takes place.

It is hoped that this his last shot at the seat like that of president Buhari will receive God’s blessing as he will eventually be sworn in as the state’s governor come 29th May 2019
