| 19 October 2018 | Sponsored

A grassroot mobilization cum pressure group known as Code 888 has taken upon itself to embark on a state wide tour to hold Town Hall meetings with Cross Riverians with the sole objective of unveiling the Policy Trust and Achievements of the Sen Prof.Ben Ayade's led administration.

The Town Hall meeting which will kick off in Ogoja will be the first of its kind as no independent group has ever taken it upon it self to educate the masses on the policy trust of any government in the history of Cross River State.

The organisers of the event have assembled some key players in the Ayade's administration as Resource persons for the event. Among whom are; Alphonsus Ogar, DG Due Process. Asuquo Ekpenyong Jr. Commissioner of Finance. Dr. Mrs. Betta Edu, DG Primary Healthcare Development Agency. Dr. Stephen Odey, Chairman, State Universal Basic Education Board SUBEB, And the very repected Chief Peter Ojie,  SSA Political Affairs to the governor.

According to Code 888 team led by Mr Maurice Nkong the group is agitating for equitable representation in the polity. He argued that the Southern senatorial district through Donald Duke led the state for 8 years, likewise the Central via Sen Liyel Imoke, therefore it will only be logical and reasonable for the Northern senatorial district through Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade to do same 8 years.

The Town Hall meeting is an imperative to enlighten the public on the Policy Thrust of this administration and the achievements of Sen. Ben Ayade so as to correct the many misinformation making rounds on the social media by some political mischief makers.

The public is hereby invited to be part of the event which is scheduled to hold on Friday, 26th October 2018 at the Ogoja council Hall, by 12 noon.
