Jude Ngaji blows hot, says opponent lacks ideas... Read more here

The All Progressives Congress, APC candidate for Ogoja/Yala Federal House constituency, Mr Jude Ngaji has taken a swipe at the current crop of legislators representing the state in the National Assembly, stating that they lack ideas to effectively represent their constituents thus their abysmal performances.

Ngaji who was speaking with newsmen, Sunday, shortly after his party's guber candidate rolled out his Economic Development Masterplan (EDM) 2019-2023 in a well attended Solemn Assembly organised to dedicate the party's Campaign for the 2019 general elections to God said the masterplan presented by his party is viable and has the pontentials of lifting the state to the next level.

"The whole world has listened to the master plan presented, so the judgement is now yours. You have heard the blueprint, does it not make a difference from what you have seen? For me, I think it makes sense". He said.

The former State Security Adviser to Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State went on to say that the incumbent members of the National Assembly from Cross River State have been consumed by the Abuja life style  of amassing wealth and building big mansions without any consideration to their constituents.

He further boasted that he has more knowledge as regards the workings of the National Assembly than the present occupiers, as he explained that he feels embittered about the quality of life lived by people in his community and he is thus motivated both by the divine and the people to go to public office.

"We have many issues in our constituency, ranging from communal crisis, that they could not present on the floor of the Senate or House of Representatives. It is so sad! That is why we are taking this challenge. The people and God are my inspiration". He said.

"For me, I am contesting for the House of Representatives. And I know exactly what to do when I go to the House of Representatives. I know the workings of the House of Representatives. I know the workings of the National Assembly. I have been there. The present crops of Representatives have been consumed by Abuja completely" He boasted.

"There are too many things to can use the office to do, but, they do not know what to do. So, the difference between us who knows how to work and people who do not know how to work, the difference between going to the National Assembly and buying your first car, going to the National Assembly and renting a house,... For us we are not doing that, we are going to work. I feel bittered, I feel very bittered because over the years they've created worse for yes and we have National Assembly members that could not get things gazetted".
