Why I stepped down to endorse Sen Ndoma-Egba, Anthony Bissong

The Senatorial candidate for central Cross River on the auspices of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) Comr. Anthony Bissong Attah and his coalition for Change (CFC) counterpart, Mr. Willy Akpama yesterday took the state by storm as they bowed out of the race to endorsed former senate leader,  Sen. Victor Ndoma Egba, candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) as their consensus candidate for the forthcoming 16, February 2019 general elections in Cross River Central Senatorial District.



Briefing newsmen in Calabar, comrade Anthony Bisong explained that the decision which was not an easy one was not financially induced nor out of political threat but a product of a thorough survey carried out on all the contenders for the soul of central Cross River senatorial district which led to the discovery that Ndoma Egba is the people's choice, his capacity, capability and audacity to speak for the common good of Central Senatorial District  have earned him the support of all


Bissong also stated that he was "Propeled by the understanding that as a third time senator and chairman of NDDC the distinguished Sen. Victor Ndoma Egba will be able with ease to attract national attention  to the socio-political economic and otherwise needs of the people as well as Hasting the accomplishments of the political blueprint". 


Comr. Anthony Bissong Attah informed that, after rigorous campaigns and wide consultations with thousands of our supporters from the  six LGA that makes up  Central Cross River he as  the state leader of YPP and also the Senate Candidate for Central Senatorial District and his Friend the candidate for Collation for Change, decided to adopt and endorsed Sen. Victor Ndoma Egba as their consensus candidate for the Senatorial District elections of Central Cross River State.


The press statement reads in part:

"It's important to note that this decision did not come out easily it's a product of  critical survey and research of all contenders to the soul of Cross River Central in the Red Chambers. Propel by the understanding that as a third time senator and chairman of NDDC our distinguished Sen. Victor Ndoma Egba will be able with ease to attract national attention  to the socio-political economic and otherwise needs of our people as well as Hasting the accomplishments of our political blueprint. 



His capacity, capability and audacity to speak for the common good of Central Senatorial District  have earned him the support of all. Moreover as candidate's of different political parties we'll employ all our supporters to work in the field to see Sen. Victor Ndoma Egba win the elections come 16 February 2019. We're voting individuals not political parties now. 



With this actions I'll assure you that the elections in Central Senatorial District have been lost and won. With the combined strength of our mobilization of youth groups, students, market women and men, elders and democrat by God's grace Sen. Victor Ndoma Egba will be inaugurated as Senator representing Central Cross River Senatorial District from 2019-2023.



This don't also means that we've decamp to APC no, just a support for Senator Victor Ndoma Egba. Thank you for coming".
