Owan Vows to revoke sales of Water board lands if elected governor of C’River state


The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Cross River state has said that he will revoke the illegal sales of lands and encroachment ongoing in the premises of the Cross River state water board.


Owan who was speaking to a mammoth crowd gathered at the Ishie town in Calabar Municipality of Cross River state during his campaign tour to Calabar Municipality noted that the encroachment into the water board property has led to the none availability of water in the homes of tax paying Cross Riverians as currently experienced in the state, and that if elected governor, he will ensure those lands are collected back so the water company can start functioning in its full capacity.


According to him, "the only thing that is making noise in Cross River state water board is that our land has been given out to people to build houses. When we become governor and deputy and we have your mandate to govern this state, the first thing we will do is to collect back that land to ensure that water runs again in Cross River State".


Owan wemt on to inform the teeming crowd that on the why governor Ben Ayade should be voted out come 2nd of march 2019. He said voting out Ayade will be a payback for his wickedness to the state and its citizens



"It's in your interest to stop Ayade come 2nd of March, I am leading a campaign to save Cross River State, come March 2nd we must vote him out. That's the only way we can do away with bad governance, that's the only way we can pay him back for his wickedness on Cross River, his wickedness on you and I and his wickedness on our state, and our state".

"I heard they want pay you for your votes, collect Ayade's money and vote him out".

The APC gubernatorial candidate went on to inform his audience that his administration will ensure there's a local government system in place, a skill acquisition center for youths empowerment, industrialise the state with a target of at least one industry in each local government area. 

"The first thing we will do is to conduct local government elections. Since it will be difficult and cumbersome to create more LGA, we will create development centers, We will ensure water will runs in your homes again, there will be light again, to face out youths unemployment, we are going to establish skills acquisition centers in all the three senatorial districts of the state". He said. 

"Every time I get elected, I do well for those that elected me, every time that I get elected, I do better than the person I took over from, APC administration will not disappoint you, I will be good to you. Today they call me the people's senator, they call me the talk and do senator. As governor, I will be called the People's Governor, I will be called the talk and do Governor because there's nothing I will say that I will not do". 

"Normally they say one good term deserves another, Our governor's fours years as governor is not a good term, so he doesn't deserve another term". He concluded.
