Police arrest kingpin of pastor Okoro's Kidnappers

Negroidhaven's Friday morning report has it that the kingpin and supposed leader of a kidnapping syndicate involved in the kidnap of a popular Calabar based cleric and general General Overseer of Bible Christian Crusaders Mission BCCM, Pastor Joseph Ifeanyichukwu Okoro has been apprehended by security agencies in Calabar.

According to the report the vocal  religious leader made this known while  was addressing members of his church Friday in a monthly early morning programme held every first day of the month called New Mercies. This will be the second kidnapper that has been arrested.

His words, "the second of the kidnappers has been arrested. And he is the kingpin... They will all be arrested.'

Recall that on Wednesday 12th December 2018 Pst J. I. Okoro was whisked away by 5 gunmen in his car by 8:45PM at his church headquarters at 55 Webber Street, Calabar.

In a related development, a senior journalist and ace broadcaster/On Air Personality, with state-owned Cross River Broadcasting Corporation, CRBC Petertex Etim was kidnapped in Calabar for more than one month with no news of his way about.

TDN gathered that the family were able to establish contact with the kidnappers immediately he was kidnapped and  the necessary demands were met but surprisingly he was still not released with his way about still unknown and the link with the kidnappers truncated.
