Prof. Mrs Akon Joshua appointed first CRUTECH Indigenous female acting VC

After all alleged "failed plan and confusion created by the exposed hidden agenda of some implied CRUTECH gods"(as critics said), providence has favoured Prof (Mrs) Akon Monday T. Joshua of  the Faculty of Education as the first CRUTECH indigenous female acting Vice Chancellor. 


This comes as Governor Ben Ayade approves her appointment out of the seven names forwarded previously to him by the institution for his selection and approval for the aforementioned position. It precisely contained in a press statement signed and released by the office of the governor's Chief Press Secretary and Senior Special Assistant on Media, Mr Christian Ita. 



Prior to her present appointment, Prof (Mrs) Joshua was the former deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) in the early years of the out going  Prof Owan Enoh's tenure as VC. 

Prof (Mrs) Joshua is naturally well respected, humble, God fearing and highly reputed as a scholar and education psychologist. 

As one of the most known 2nd generation/founding indigenous professors of the University, who from the records have served as Chairman and member of several CRUTECH top Management and Council Committees, Prof (Mrs) Joshua, whose current appointment last for 3 months, is an Efik of Ito /Ukwa Clan in Odukpani Local Government Area of CRS. She is the wife of Prof Monday T. Joshua of the Faculty of Education, UNICAL and former Dean of CRUTECH Faculty of Education.
