Again, Ayade set up another taskforce making it the fifth without exco

According to a press statement signed by the chief press secretary to the governor of Cross River State, another taskforce have been constituted in the state. 

The statement made it clear that the governor constituted the new taskforce to help review the state loans, mobilize support for the governor's signature projects, deep seaport, and super highway projects.

The committee which is headed by a former aspirant for the central cross river state senatorial seat, Mr. Chris Agara has been mandated by their terms of reference to see to the fruition of the superhighway and the deep seaport as well review the state's loans. 

Other members if the committee are 
Arch Bassey Ndem who is the Secretary while High Chief Higgins Peters is the Vice Chairman and Dr. Francis Ntamu, Rev. Victor Edet, Arc. Eric Akpo, Engr. Godwin Akeke, Mr. E. J Williams, and Abiola Imani are members. 

The statement reads in full: 

Gov Ayade constitutes taskforce to review state loans, mobilize support for Deep Seaport, Superhighway projects

Cross River state governor, Professor Ben Ayade has approved the constitution of a taskforce with the mandate to review all loans taken by the state.

The taskforce is also to mobilize support for the two signature projects of the administration; the Bakassi Deep Seaport and the 274km Superhighway projects.

It has Mr. Chris Agara as Chairman with Arch Bassey Ndem as Secretary.

Other members of the task force are High Chief Higgins Peters (Vice Chairman), Dr. Francis Ntamu, Rev. Victor Edet (member), Arc. Eric Akpo (member), Engr. Godwin Akeke (member), Mr. E. J Williams (member) and Abiola Imani (member).

It is on record that the governor is yet to set up his executive council and may be comfortable working with committees. These should be the fourth taskforce substituted by the governor since assumption  of office for a second term.  

The taskforce committee set up by his exxellency so far are as follows 

1. Cross River State Task force on Street Lights headed by Rt Hon George Obenetchi 

2. Interim Anti-deforestation Task Force, headed by Mrs Florence-Omon Bassey Inyang 

3. Taskforce on Refuse Evacuation and Cleanliness headed by Mr. Eric Anderson. 

4. Taskforce on security headed by Comrade Asu Okang 

5. Taskforce to mobilise support for deep seaport, superhighway and review state debts headed by Chris Agara
