The House further resolved that Sydney Construction company which was awarded the contract for the road, be asked to return to the site and complete the work which has been abandoned for over one year.

These resolutions were taken following a motion brought before the House by the Member representing Yala 11 State constituency, Hon Cynthia Nkasi who lamented the bad state of the road which according to her traverses the Yala Local Government Area.

Members in separate remarks reiterated the importance of good road network for development and urged the State Government to embark on the rehabilitation of rural roads.
