The Chairman of the forum, Comrade Sunday Michael, who made this known today in Calabar while addressing newsmen said having searched around during the electioneering period Sen. Ben. Ayade was the only man they deemed fit could lead the state at the material moment and thus having supported him to win the election, it was only logical to continue with that support as he administers the state until he proves otherwise.

"There have been several reports making the rounds, people are making unfounded allegations and unguided utterances. Inasmuch as there's freedom of expression and association, it's also important to allow the state to grow. It's on that note we want to address the press. It important to know that the governor is yet to complete 100 days in office and when you support somebody it becomes very imperative to for you to watch that person, give the person the needed support that person, give the person all the necessary support to succeed until when it becomes very obvious that the person.

Lending his voice, Mr. Castro Ezama, chairman of Forum of Governorship Candidate 2019 who revealed that Cross River State is far from the scheme of things in the nation, said the governor should be given benefit of the doubt to work with Cross Riverians and take the state to its Eldorado

"We have traveled far and wide and we have known clearly and painfully Cross River State is Far from Nigeria.it on this note that we crave the indulgence of Cross Riverians that we come together and support his excellency that we take CRS out of obscurity and out of darkness into marvelous light. united we stand, divided we fall. There is a dream that is Cross River and I do know that with the intelligence and the potential expertise of our people we will take Cross River state to that enviable height'. He noted.
