New beauty product, Kokomon unveiled in Calabar



...children immortalise late mother with new product line. 



CALABAR - A new beauty product line identified as Kokomon has been unvield in Calabar, Cross River State, with a range of product such as antiseptic soap, hair and skin creams, liquid black wash which are all made from natural products to enhance the outlook of users. TDN can report.



The event which was Chaired by the member representing Eket Federal constituency in the green chambers, Hon. Patrick Ifon, was hosted by children of a Qua Matriarch, Ntunkae Margaret Asim Umo who herself was a consummate beautician.


While unveiling the products, Princess Ayi Umo, daughter of the late Matriarch, and Executive Director of Kokomon, said the entire concept of Kokomon is geared towards immortalising their mother who passed on six (6) months ago.

"Our mother was a woman of exceptional entrepreneurial skills which she inculcated in us her children and also passed on to others, so we want her memories to remain fresh", she said.

Princess Umo added that the beauty products are of a wide range which include antiseptic soap, hair and skin creams, liquid black wash which are all made from natural products to enhance the outlook of users.



The fragrances had signature names which include, Koko2plus – named after the father, Cyril Umoh. Kokomon named after the mum, Ntunkae Margaret Umo, Voltage after Imabong Akpabio and Bene Intense after Beni Benibo.

"These variety of products are my mother's legacy and we feel for the good of society, we should enhance their status and keep them going for many to use.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Patrick Ifon, said Mrs Umo was a great woman and the products she introduced into beauty management are of value and should be enhanced for more to use.

The family expressed gratitude to those who stood by them during the trying time of their mother's demise and assured that her legacy will not die.
