Constituents pass votes of confidence on Etta, says he remains their lawmaker in the CRSHA

Constituents of Abi State House constituency arising from a town hall meeting held in Abi have passed a vote of confidence on the member representing the constituency in the 9th Cross River State House of Assembly stating that Hon. Davies Etta remains their representative in the state house. 


This came through after deliberations and questions thrown at the house member were judiciously and satisfactorily answered with all amount of sincerity and openness by Hon. (Dr.) Davis Etta in a town hall meeting organized by Noble Organization For Solidarity and Development (NOSAD) in collaboration with the Hon. Member on the 14th September 2019 at the Itigidi Council Hall.


Dr. Etta who took out time to provide answers to all questions asked by constituents made it clear that he is willing and ready to bring a change as well as usher in a new dispensation where electorates and constituents' voices are heard and amplified. 



Dr. Davis who is also the chairman, House Committee on Water Supply/Sanitation and Environmental in the 9th Assembly, used the opportunity of the Town Hall meeting to present a brief on his journey so far as a new member in the house, stating that he is set to deliver on the three cardinal functions of a lawmaker which centers on legislation, oversight functions and representation. 




Speaking further, Etta informed constituents that as part of his legislative and representative activities, he will endeavor to attract the dividends of democracy to the constituency while using his oversight functions to see that those projects are implemented. 

He also used the occasion to address issue bordering on Insecurity, lack of portable water and power supply, Quality and affordable Health care delivery services, Education, Skills acquisition for Youths and women as well as Appointment and reward plan for party faithful. 


Etta, assured his constituents that he will facilitate the quick response of government to the plight of the people especially those that has to do with his Committee and work in collaboration with his colleagues in different Committees to meet the yearnings of his Constituents.
