Democracy Hero Award: Ojong Agbor bags three outstanding Awards in three months

An unassuming Cross Riverian and a political mentor to many youths in Cross River State, His Excellency, Amb. Ojong Agbor has bagged the Democracy Hero Award as the Young Influential Politician of the year", making it his third award within three months. TDN can report. 

The award ceremony which took place in Abuja, and was put together by the Federal Government of Nigeria saw the likes of Dr Ramatu Tijani Aliyu the Honourable Minister of State FCT, being awarded, the Iconic Woman of the Year and Mrs. Olufalake Abdulrazaq First Lady of Kwara State, bagged the Most Promising First Lady of the year award, while Hon. Prince Musiliu Olaide Akinremi of the House of Representatives went home with the Humanitarian Personality award of the year amongst other recipients

Amb Agbor who was accompanied by his beautiful wife and other great personalities from the National Assembly and the state to the stage to receive his award, expressed joy and deep humility to be found worthy of such honor, he however pledged to continue and do even more of those things that made the organizers find him worthy of such honor. 

In his goodwill message, signed by his media aide, Miss Modlin Odu, 
Sen. Sandy Onor, a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria representing Cross River Central Senatorial District in the red chambers, described the award recipient as one of Cross River Central Senatorial District's Finest Gift to the World who is committed to nation building and has carved for himself a niche, and prayed for more awards for him. 

Amb. Ojong Agbor is a one of the few Cross Riverians to watch out for as he keeps gaining momentum into the polity of things in the state. Very quiet, humble, unassuming and of deep thoughts, he has gradually endeared himself into the hearts of many with is humane nature. 

With this award, Amb Agbor has in three months grabbed three major awards in quick successions. First The state Chapter of National Youth Council of Nigeria, in August found him worthy to be amongst the few Cross Riverians nominated for an award, then during the World Peace Day, precisely 27th September, Ojong Agbor was again found worthy of being capped an Ambassador of Peace by the United Nations Positive Livelihood Award Centre Peace Programme (UN-POLAC). And in less than a month the Democracy Hero Award have crowned him the Young Influential Politician of the year.

The award has indeed stirred up series of congratulatory messages from well meaning Cross Riverians as the social media is already saturated with several goodwill messages appreciating the awardee.
