Etta assures constituents of amplified representation, as C'River lawmakers resume plenary

Hon. Dr. Davis Etta has assured constituents of his renewed commitment to amplify their voices as the Cross River State House of Assembly resumes plenary after two months of working recess. 

The Hon. Member representing Abi in the blue chamber made this known through a press release issued this week in Calabar. He said he had spent a greater part of his two months working recess to, access and re-access the needs of the various council Wards in the constituency as well as held wide consultative meetings with constituents and stakeholders alike. This he said has given him a deeper understanding of the peculiar needs of his people and he has developed a model of meeting each of those needs.

Hon. Etta revealed that the two months recess came at the right time as it gave him the opportunity to restrategize, consult and develop a working template to meet the unique and peculiar needs of his people. 

He noted that top on his list is to forestall peace and unity in Abi as well as provide mechanisms that will alleviate the excruciating poverty and hunger the crisis as brought upon the constituency. He also said that the youths are also hold a vital place in his agenda as they need to be reoriented and empowered to live meaningful dreams. 

Hon. Etta called on all Abi sons and daughters to continually pray for him for guidance to effectively represent them. He said he greatly needs their support, prayers and encouragement even as he called on warring and aggrieved communities to shelve their sword, embrace peace and dialogue.
