Bishop U. U. Effiong

The Presiding Prelate  of the AME Zion Church, Eastern West Africa Episcopal District  Bishop Uduak Effiong will today be marking his 25th Marriage Anniversary in grand style.

The Professor of Education took to his Facebook page to inform friends and family of his 25 years in Marriage.
While narrating God's faithfulness this past 25 years, Bishop Effiong remeniced on their wedding toast which he said was:

"We look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal" (2Cor. 4:8)

According to the bishop, the grace of God has kept his family going even as his children were divinly given by God.

His post read Thus:

Twenty five years ago, precisely on Saturday, November 5, 1994, at Bishop Lartey Memorial AME Zion Church, Calabar, Promise and I were proclaimed married! Our toast on that memorable event was "we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal" (2Cor. 4:8).

We praise God for his faithfulness and blessings, we thank our families and friends for support, we appreciate our children for divinely coming our way, we thank the AME Zion Church for the privilege to serve, we thank you all for sharing in our joy today and always!

Happy Silver Jubilee Celebration to you sir, from all of us at TDN.
