Calabar stood still for Correct Waka, as over 500 Cross Riverians storm the street

The Correct FM Waka for Humanity that took place Saturday, 2nd November 2019 got the streets of Calabar flooded with Cross Riverians from all works of life.

The 7 kilometers walk which was aimed at driving home the need for peaceful coexistence while dispelling the urge for vices such as drugs abuse, sexual Violence, thuggery etc amongst young person had the over 500 youths from across the State in attendance. 

According to an On Air Personality with Correct FM, organizers of the Waka for Humanity, Mcdpippu "waka for humanity was basically a walk against everything  every vices". 

The walk witnessed dignitaries from the state House of Assembly led by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Eteng Jonah Williams, Hon Frank Ovat, House Committee Chairman on youth and sports, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, Mr. Sunday Michael, Chairman of Nigeria Conference of Political Parties Cross River State branch, Officers of the 13th Brigade, Members of the National Youth Service Corp, Officers of the Nigerian Peace Corp etc. 

The event put together by Correct 97.3 FM in collaboration with Cross River State Sports Commission featured AOP's like Mcdpippu, Godpikin, Ejogah, lady H etc as well as several music artist thrilling the crowd.
