Don't forget what you learnt from your father, Ben Akak advises C'River lawmaker

Engr. Ben Akak, President of Ben Akak Foundation

Ukorebi Esien | 23rd November 2019

Engineer. Ben Akak has called on Dr. Davies Etta, a Cross River State lawmaker to keep close to his chest all he had learnt from his late father, Chief Eta Enyi Ofem, even as he advised him to chat his own course while remembering to always represent the good virtues of his Father.

The tall lanky, handsome, Rick Ross-patten-of-beard-keeping businessman cum Pastor made this known to TDN in an exclusive chat shortly after he was sighted in Ebom, Abi Local Government Area where he attended the Funeral and Memorial Service of Late Chief Eta Enyi Ofem, father of Hon Davies Etta, who speaks for Abi State constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly.

Speaking further, the gentleman with a calm ambience and quiet disposition said he risked attending the funeral in such a war turn zone despite stories and rumours of killings coupled with destruction of properties that usually take place during the recurrent wars amongst the Bahumono communities because of Friendship and loyalty.

He used the occasion to call on the Bahumono extraction of Abi local government area and all other warring communities in Cross River State including the recently reoccurred war between Oku Iboku and Ikot Offiong to embrace peace and stop unnecessary bloodshed and destruction of properties.

He emphasized that no meaningful development will be attracted to such warring communities as no reasonable government or investor would want to risk investing in a war prone zone.

Engineer Ben Akak is a successful business and a full time lover of God whose passion for leadership is borne out of a deep desire for service and to add value to humanity.

The Funeral service conducted by the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Ebom Parish had the leadership and members of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Leadership and members of the PDP family, Clergies, family members and friends of both the deceased and his children in attendance.
