I will attract good things to you, lawmaker promise constituents [Video]

A Cross River State lawmaker in the 9th Assembly, Hon. Dr Davis Etta has vowed to attract development to his constituents with the mandate given to him.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after he was inaugurated as member representing Abi in the Cross River State House of Assembly, Etta expressed gratitude to God for seeing him through the electoral process.

He extended his appreciation to his constituents, colleagues and stakeholders who stood by him during his down times, promising that he will use the mandate given him to attract good things and development to them.

"I thank my constituents who believe that their mandate is secured with me and it is my wish and promise that I am going to speak in their favour. And going to hold that mandate in such a way that it will only bring good things to the constituents." Etta said.

Recall that Etta recently defeated his closest rival, Hon. Inah Iwara of the APC in a rerun election held Saturday, 25th January 2020 after the Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Calabar nullified his initial electoral victory last year.

Also speaking exclusively with TDN, Mr. Collins Enyievi, DG of Dr. Davies Etta's Campaign Organization expressed gratitude to God and all those who played various roles in securing Etta's victory both during the initial election and the rerun election.

Mr. Enyievi, expressly showed gratitude to his coordinators whom he said fearlessly coordinated the 10 council wards of Abi and delivered their wards. He also called on all indigenes of Abi to join hands with Etta and ensure he delivers on his tripod promise of Restoring Peace to Abi, Human Capital Development and Community Development.
