It is not news that the globetrotting nature of Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State has been a major reason for his perpetual absenteeism during governors forum meetings.

Rumors have it that his lackadaisical attitude towards the PDP governors Forum almost cost him his ticket during the 2019 gubernatorial elections when he sought a second term. 

It wasn't a surprise when his deputy was spotted recently representing the governor during governors forum meetings.
