Breaking: Ayade swears in Justice Maurice Eneji as acting State Chief Judge

Developing Story 

Amidst tension and the heated political atmosphere in Cross River State, the governor, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade has sworn in Justice Maurice Eneji as the state Acting Chief Judge.

This came in upon the expiration of Justice Akon Ikpeme's acting capacity which expired yesterday 2nd March coupled with the refusal of the state house of Assembly to confirm the lady justice as substantive Chief Judge of the state.

Consequently, Justice Eneji who is said to be the next person in line has been sworn in by the governor today.
