"We need facemask to work", C'River Health workers cry out as Ayade gift Kano state, others 1m mask

A Cross River State Health Worker under  General Hospital Okpoma, Yala LGA has cried out upon hearing that the state government donated 1 million facemask to Kano state government with plans on the way to replicate same gesture to Lagos and Akwa Ibom state governments. 

The lady who registered her voice on the matter via a facebook comment said Health workers in the government facility are risking their lives to attend to patients with various kinds of ailments and symptoms without Personal Protective Equipments, PPE. 

"As l speak, l work in General Hospital Okpoma, Yala, LGA here in Cross River, and the condition is too terrible that our service to humanity as nurses, we attend to patients without masks, all kinds of cases as such a time we are advise to stay save."  She lamented.

She went on to state that despite their willingness as health workers to continue in the discharge of their duties, they are not save, as they are risking their own lives trying to save lives, they are suffering. While reminding the governor that they also have loved ones who wants them to be alive, she said they are suffering and the governor should come to their aide. 

"We are human beings... We are not save to discharge our humanity service...
We love our job, we love our lives, we love our community, our family and Nigeria. Please General hospital Okpoma , Yala nurses needs masks to work for the benefit of our community." She cried out. 

Some media aides to the governor of Cross River state Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade had yesterday in a short post circulated on social media claimed that the Governor had gifted one million face mask to Kano state government and plans are on the way to show same kindness to Lagos and Akwa Ibom state.
