Cultism: PDP councilor Candidate, 34 others declared wanted by C'River state govt.


As the spate of killings, robbery ands kidnappings continue to scale up with reckless abandon in the state, the Cross River state government in a bid to sanitize and clean up the system, have declared about 35 persons wanted over their involvement in killings and sundry cult activities. 

According to a statement sighted by our reporter as signed by the Permanent Secretary on Security and Special Services, Governor's office, Dr Alfred Mboto, a handsome reward awaits any individual who provides useful information that would lead to the arrest of any of the WANTED CULTISTS



The statement also identified the listed 35 names which includes the PDP councilor candidate in ward 6 Calabar south, a personnel with the Nigerian Correctional center (Prison), a dismissed military officer, two persons, recently granted amnesty by the chief judge on prerogative of Mercy and others, as ringleaders added that any house/hotel accommodating the WANTED persons will be confiscated and the owner prosecuted.
