Eid-El Kabir: Justina urge Muslims to exhibit tolerance, assures security

As Muslims across the globe celebrate the 2020 Eid-el kabir, the Executive Chairman of Odukpani Local Government Area, Hon. (Mrs) Justina Edem has urged Muslim residents in the local government area to exhibit a high level of tolerance even as she assures them of maximum security during the celebration. 

The Odukpani Council boss, who made this known in a press statement made available to media houses through Her Chief Press Secretary, Chief Akiba Ekpenyong, advised them to be law-abiding, to love and respect their host communities. 

She further enjoined them to pray and work towards the peace and development of Odukpani LGA, Cross River State, and Nigeria at large, while promising them a continuous enjoyment a peaceful, serene environment to carry out their businesses.

Justina, who thanked God for sustaining them throughout their fast further advised the celebrating Muslims in the council area to ensure they adhere to all the COVID-19 safety measures as stipulated by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control, NCDC.
