The Workaholic Mayor: Nta begins construction of Ultramodern park/shopping Mall, revives Football Club

In a bid to decongest traffic along the Ediba axis of the ever busy Marian road, in Calabar Municipal Council, the Mayor of Calabar, Hon. Effefiong Nta is building an Ultramorden shopping Complex and a commercial motor park. 

Pictures emanating from the project sites reveals that work has already begun in earnest with the mayor on site to inspect the level of work done sofar. The shopping mall which is designed to accommodate over 300 shops with a spacious appurtenance for business convenience will indeed boost economic activities for citizens and residence. 

The Mayor of Calabar who was aeen on site with his supervisor for works, Prince Okon Ante alongside the Director of Works, encouraged workers on-site to be focused and ensure speedy completion of the project, stating that the project was in sync with the industrialization drive of the Governor Ben Ayade's led government. 

According to the Mayor, the governor's vision to industrialize the state will not only transform Cross River to an employment hub but boost productivity as well as reduce over-dependency on politicians and civil service. 

Nta who had vowed to not only transform Calabar Municipality but also ensure every citizen and residents are empowered in their various areas of specialties, put his words to work by ensuring his signature project was executed by locals within the area. 

Recall that the mayor had last week unveiled the rebranded Leopard Football Club, according to the sports-loving mayor, Leopard Football club could be another avenue of transforming lives of his citizens. 

Using Senegalese forward, Sadio Mane, the mayor said, "...if Sadio Mane's social status can be changed from a belittled truck pusher to a famous football player, with a big heart of benevolence and humanitarian services then Leopard Football Club deserves huge support and inspiration".
