Godswill Akpabio, Hon. Minister of Niger Delta Affairs,

Rt. Hon. Orok Otuekong Duke, a one time Deputy Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly has joined numerous Nigerians to send special greetings to the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Chief Godswill Akpabio, CON as he turns 58 today.

Duke in a message made available to our newsroom said the former governor of Akwa Ibom State has over the years demonstrated Uncommon Wisdom, remarkable vision, and exemplary leadership. Wishing God grants him good health, long life and bigger platforms to express his full potentials.

In a poem composed by the former legislator and sports administrator, Duke  described the minister as a shooting star who did not just arrive to do a cameo but to take his chances, whose Uncommon glow was announced by the whistle of the night and like the fire flies of moons the shooting star(Godswill Akpabio) will never return home.

In a similar development, the Chairman of Cross River Traditional Rulers Council (CRTRC), His Royal Majesty Etim Okon Edet, also felicitated with Akpabio, calling him 'Uko Eren Owo'. Etinyin Edet, while celebrating the Uncommon Transformer, Etinyin quoted Edward J. Stieglitz when he said "The most important things to you is not how many years in your life, but how many life in your years" and decided to rain blessings on him.

"May choicest blessings descend to greet you today on your birthday." The Royal father said.

Recall that Chief Orok Otuekong Duke who is currently the National Coordinator of Friends of Godswill Akpabio in Nigeria (FOGAN) has been a close allay and classmate of Godswill Akpabio since University days in 1982 .

According to Duke, the group is made up of friends of the minister from Cross River, Akwa Ibom, cutting across the Niger Delta region with the aim of giving him the needed support in all his endeavours.
