Clement Ebri partners Ben Akak Foundation to develop sports in C'River


A former governor of Cross River State, Mr. Clement Ebri has expressed his commitment to partner with the Ben Akak Foundation to develop sporting activities in the state.

Ebri made this known yesterday at the UJ Esuene stadium when he accompanied, Engr. Ben Akak chairman of the Ben Akak Foundation and Bengies group of companies to pay an unscheduled visit to the club as they prepare to depart the state for an away match.

Speaking to the players and management of the team, the former governor, Mr. Clement Ebri assured the team of his unalloyed support and admonished them to be steadfast and focused while promising to partner with Engr. Ben Akak to move the team forward and to revive it's lost glory.

 In his remarks, Engr. Akak informed that the visit was to ascertain the present condition of the team and proffer solution on the way forward. He appreciated the Ex governor for his love for sport and willingness to partner with the Foundation to ensure sports is revived in the state.

Akak who donated some cash to the team urged them to be serious-minded and focused in order to record successes in their upcoming matches.

In appreciation, the team's leader applauded the two outstanding leaders for their concern and support for the team and prayed God's continued blessings upon them.
