Prince Otu welcomes Ayade to APC, says C'River has no business with PDP

A former federal legislator and staunch member of the All Progressives Congress in Cross River State, Sen. Prince Bassey Otu, has sent sweet Felicitations to the Governor of the state on his recent defection to the Nationally ruling Party - the APC.

In a message made available to TND, the former lawmaker noted that the state has no business beign an opposition state, stating that aligning with the party at the center will help galvanize the needed support and ideas that will quickly accentuate the developmental foundation you have put down for our state.

Prince Otu, also noted that Governor Ayade had been a member of the party in principle and practice even before officially joining the fold. He said the governor's posturing and style is a perfect fit as a Progressive which has always displayed.

The statement reads in full:

WELCOME TO THE PROGRESSIVE FAMILY YOUR EXCELLENCY OUR DEAR GOVERNOR SEN. PROF. BEN AYADE

Your Excellency, welcome home. On behalf of my family, friends and associates I very heartily welcome you to the family where your giftings, posture and style fit in perfectly. Where you were misunderstood for your progressivism.

This is the home of true progressives in our state. I have been a close ally with the contours of your liberal leadership dynamics bonded in ethics and I knew God will intervene and give you a sweet landing. Our state has no business playing politics of opposition. The APC  in the state and the centre will galvanize the needed support and ideas that will quickly accentuate the developmental foundation you have put down for our state.

Congratulations Your Excellency on this excellent decision, may the Almighty God continue to guide and protect you and very truly welcome home.

Senator(Prince)Bassey Otu
