Akak sends thank you message to APC stakeholders and supporters

Engr. Ben Akak who really recently defected from the People's Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress in his polling unit of Obukwo Esa, Odukpani LGA of Cross River State has sent out words of appreciation to stakeholders of the  party for standing by him during the event.

In a letter tagged Appreciation Message, signed by Engr. Ben Akak and made available to TND, the business mogul said the immense show of love and acceptance by party stakeholders and his supporters was a booster leading to the success of the entire events that cumulated into his registration into the APC family.

The massage reads in full:

Fellow Cross Riverians,

       MESSAGE OF APPRECIATION

Permit me to employ this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all and sundry especially those who in one way or the other, known or unknown, contributed immensely to the success of my formal registration with the All Progressives Congress, APC, in my Polling Unit, Obukwo Esa, Odukpani LGA on Friday 4th June 2021.

I must confess that your vehement show of support through physical presence (for those who could make it), calls/SMS (for those who may not have been able to make it physically), and prayers etc contributed immensely in making the brief event a resounding success.

My appreciation will not be complete if I do not specially highlight the dogged resolve of the All Progressives Congress (APC) especially the Leadership, Stakeholders and Members who held the fort until my entry. In this regard, my appreciation goes to His Excellency, the Governor of the state, Sen. Prof . Ben Ayade for taking the bold step to identify with the Progressives thereby creating an enabling horizon for the emergence of a new political order, the State Chairman of the Party, Mathew Mbu for his unparalleled leadership, His Excellency Clement Ebri,
Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, SAN.
Dr. Frank Ayade
Senator Prince Otu, Honourable Pst. Usani Usani, Senator John Owan-Enoh, Honourable Okoi Obono-Obla,
Honourable Bassey Akiba, Honourable Davies Etta,
Ntufam Ekpo Okon
Eka-Nyin Florence Ita Giwa
All the Chairmen/Vice Chairmen of the 18 LGAs
Hrh Etinyin Asuquo Ekpenyong
Honourable Dr Farathor Robinson
Honorable Goodwill Eki
Lady Okpo Ene
Professor Ndem Ayara
Elder Bolaji Anani
Dr. P. Tawo
High Chief Eugene Akeh
Apostle Elias Emmanuel, Reverend Ephraim Effiong
Reverend Theodore Effiong
Hrm Etinyin Etim Okon Edet
Dr. Elder Nkwo .I. Nkwo
Dr. Mrs. Affiong Ugbaja
 and a host of others.

Indeed, it was Chinua Achebe who said and I quote: 'Every generation must recognise and embrace the task it is peculiarly designed by history and by providence to perform'; dear compatriots, we must acknowledge this generation like ours, be deliberate in embracing the daunting task designed by God and fate for us to be of service to fellow Nigerians.

Like I said during my registration on Friday, 'Ben Akak is not just moving, Ben Akak is moving to add value, to create impact'. Let me re-echo what H.E. Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade
said by adding that the nation, Nigeria, is at the throes faced with daunting task and challenges that keep raring its heads, and as progressives and nationalists, all hands must be on deck to steer the ship of state to a palatable shore.

We will make history. Long live the All Progressives Congress! Long live Cross River! Long live Nigeria!

Signed
Engr. Ben Akak
