Stop the lies, PDP isn't dead, Okang tells APC as Massive Crowd turn up for Etung Rebirth Rally

As the political climate of Cross River State continues to thicken with several uncertainties filling the space, the Etung Chapter of People's Democratic Party, PDP in Cross River State over the weekend held a unity rally with the hope of driving home the truth, that Etung Local Government Area is still intact for PDP.

According to a two time commissioner in the state, Comrade Asu Okang, the event was aimed at galvanizing support for the party and to reassure the people that the party remain unmoved.

Speaking with our correspondent he said, "it was a ecstatic atmosphere
The people are with us especially to show support for their own son senator Sandy Onor"

Earlier while addressing the mammoth crowd, Comrade Okang noted that the PDP will reclaim Government House come 2023 and that the defection of the governor from the PDP to the APC had no significant effect on the party in Etung as it was only politicians with no political value that followed the governor All Progressives Congress.

In his words; "Let me thank the leaders of our party from all the various wards who have converged here this afternoon to celebrate the rebirth of our party in Etung Local Government Area
So many people thought that by the exit of the state governor from the party, PDP in Etung will die, Unfortunately, the Governor decamped with some Etung sons who cannot go their villages.
De one for Bendeghe dem beat am for Bendeghe. De one for House of Assembly e de go village? De one for Ajasor dem de pursue am! No be so?" He noted.

Continuing, the youthful Politician expressed thus, "De pipol wey no get political value for dis Etung na dem go APC! Na true or na lie? So we wey dey here na we get de party we still dey gidigba. Don't you remember me? Una no know de tin wey we do for field? When dem see us, dem go run.
As PDP we will continue to foster the ideals of our party to our people, we will remain committed to our people and to ensure that God willing, 2023 PDP will reclaim Government House in Calabar."
