Gateman caught for Attempting to sell Employers Car for N350, 000

A middle aged man simply identified as Godswill Ezekiel Ugbe was yesterday arrested by men of the Nigerian police force in Calabar for attempting to sell a car belonging to his employer. 

Godswill who was driving the car to his potential buyer was intercepted by men of the anti kidnapping squad along Akpabuyo LGA. 

According to a security source, the Toyota Camry with Reg No: KT 114 LH was recovered through intelligence led policing by Dragon squad with SP Abdulhameed Awodi who was recently awarded by PCRC for quality service. 

Confirming the arrest, Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Irene Ugbo informed that the suspect will soon be charged to court. She added that the Young man was employed secure a compound including some cars, since the owner is based outside of the country. But he decided to sell off one of the cars under his custody. 

He ran out of luck, and was caught by Men of the Anti Kidnapping and Cultism Squad ,AKCS, on patrol suspected that the car was stolen and went after him ,after his arrest they discovered he was trying to sell the car for a meager 350,000 ,that car is about 3 million naira .

Irene added that the suspect has confessed to the crime and would be charged to court as soon as possible.
