PDP lawmaker Explains why APC Can Not Win Election in C'River in 2023

A Front line PDP governorship aspirant in CRS Rt Hon Daniel Asuquo has said that the all progressives congress APC will not win any election in CRS come 2023,he dropped the hint when his"With God" campaign team visited Calabar municipality for consultation on his governorship ambition.

Dansuki averred that the APC has done nothing in CRS that will make the people vote for the party in 2023.

The three time member of parliament noted that the only infrastructures cross River State can boast of today were provided by the PDP from 1999 to date, challenging any opposing mind to prove him otherwise with a completed or functional projects of APC in the state,he said:

Look at Calabar,a city that was known for beauty,class and elegance is now a shadow of itself,he pointed out that Akwa-Ibom State has taken over cross River State and has become the preferred destination for tourists.

He therefore asked the people particularly the PDP delegates to vote for him to emerge as the candidate of the PDP because he has the connections,exposure and the war chest to win the general election against the ruling party the APC,while appealing to the leadership of the PDP to provide a level playing ground for all aspirants to compete.

Earlier,Rt Hon Daniel Asuquo aka Dansuki had thanked the people of Calabar municipality for always standing by him in all his struggles, recalling how he started his political life in Calabar municipality after enrolling in Ikot Ansa political ward a place he lived as a businessman and had his first property.

The law maker charged the people to go get their PVCs, bearing in mind that votes are beginning to count with particular reference to Anambra State governorship election where the APC abrakadabra could not work.

He used the occasion to pay glowing tributes to Elder Willie Okokon a political stalwart in Calabar municipality who returned him in the primaries election that saw him became Chairman in 1999.

He promised to ensure that the LGA which house the seat of government will return to it glory days when he becomes governor.

Responding,the chapter Chairman of PDP Calabar municipality and other speakers eulogized the law maker for trailing the blaze,describing him as a man who can win election for the party against any opponents giving his popularity, large heart and kind heartedness.

They implored him to remain steadfast as the odds are in his favour.
