NUAAE Commends The MD Of CRBDA For Quality Service Delivery

The Nigerian Union of Agriculture and Allied Employees (NUAAE), Cross River Basin Branch says it is proud to be associated with the achievements of the present management of the Authority under the leadership of Engr. Bassey Nkposong.

Apart from the infrastructural development spread across the catchment, the Union says issues of staff welfare have been promptly attended to.
The Chairman of the Union Comrade Joseph Etim who stated this in Calabar while sending forth past Executive members of the Union said however, that the issue of delayed staff promotion, non-release of supervision for staff and the overall manpower development are areas which still needs much to be desired.

Comrade Etim said the event which was aimed at appreciating those who have contributed to the overall success of the Authority over the years, was also an opportunity for members of the Union and the entire staff to re-strategize for the task ahead in the coming year.

The Chairman of the event who is also the Managing Director of Implementing Technology Nigeria Limited, Mr. Uko Inaku said he was proud to be associated with the Union especially with regards to its relationship with the Management.  Mr. Inaku who called for continuous dialogue in the event of misunderstanding between the Management and Union said for the overall progress of the establishment, a smooth working relationship needs to be created by the two parties.

Speaking, the Managing Director of Cross River Basin Development Authority who was recognized as the Most Union Friendly Chief Executive Officer of the Authority for 2021, said the Award belonged to the Management and Staff of the Authority who have worked tirelessly to ensure that the Authority was not brought to its knees especially during the EndSars demonstration.

Engr. Nkposong appreciated the Union for recognizing not only the past executive of the Union but also outstanding stakeholders who have contributed to the success of the Authority over the years.

The State Chairman of the Union, Comrade Godwin Ote who said he was impressed at the smooth working relationship existing between the Management and the Union in the Authority called on sister Unions in other establishments to imitate the cordial working relationship existing in the Authority.

The event brought together stakeholders from within and outside the Authority including the Executive Directors and the General Manager of Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Calabar, Mr. Samuel Olahide among others.
