Why I want to represent Central C'River in the 10th Assembly - Usani

A front line aspirant who seeks to represent Cross River Central Senatorial District in the Upper Chambers of 10th National Assembly, Wilfred Usani Esq. KSM has said his intention for the legislative job is for the interest of the people stating that collectively the district will achieve more in the next political dispensation. 

Speaking during a consultation meeting with chapter Chairmen of the PDP, Usani laid bare his legislative agenda which he said is pivoted on three principal elements of Political and Social transformation, Sustainable Wealth Creation for the people and employment opportunities for improved livelihood. He therefore, called on stakeholders present and the generality of the populace to join hands with him in making the dream a reality. 



Speaking at the meeting, Gerald Odok, Director General of the One Central Campaign group informed that the group is a People's Democratic Party's support group with a mande to promote the aspiration of her candidate, enthrone a new leadership in the State, continue the legacy of effective representation of the Central Senatorial District in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. 

 She believes there is need for a paradigm shift in the leadership cadre of the nation, and having discovered a Man who according to her is a competent, innovative, broad-minded, visionary and empathetic leader, they have adopted Barr. Wilfred Usani as their aspirant. And because of the vital role the forum of chapter Chairmen will play in the actualization of Usani's project, it was necessary to present him to them. 




Responding, Chairman of the PDP Chapter Chairmen in the district, Godwin Igwe, Chairman of Obubra chapter, commended Wilfred Usani's foresightedness to have acknowledged the vital roles chapter Chairmen play during elections. He advised Usani to relent in his relationship with the chapter Chairmen especially at personal levels, stating. "...never neglect their capacity as they have been the ones holding the party for a year and nine months since the defection of the governor." He advised. 

He further assured him of their support as he formally declared Usani's movement for the Central Senatorial District open stating that Barr. Usani is a very humble personality and would fit into the shoes of a Senator.
