Engr. Nsa Ekpenyong's Aspiration Is Suggestive Of The Succession The State Needs — LG Chairmen

Engr. Nsa Ekpenyong Asuquo,
APC Gubernatorial Aspirant

The Cross River State Local Government Chairmen Forum has described Engr. Nsa Ekpenyong Asuquo's determination to better the lot of Cross River as indicative of a succession plan needed by all well-meaning people of the State.

The disclosure was made by the Forum of Local Government Chairmen when it received the Nsa Ekpenyong Asuquo Campaign team on a consultative visit to Calabar.

Speaking at the meeting, after the Chairmen Forum became the latest in a legion of the aspirant's supporters, its body's Chairman, who is also the Chairman of Akpabuyo Local Government Area, Hon. Emmanuel Offiong Bassey averred that Engr. Asuquo has come into the governorship tussle replete with a private-sector based experience which is needed for the economic turnaround of the State.

Hon. Bassey further stated that the aspirant's endearing blueprint, which is hinged on the present administration's agro-industrialization programme, pitches him ahead of others in the choice of who becomes the next governor of the State.

The Chairman of the Forum conveyed his members' satisfaction and harmony with Engr. Asuquo's vision, which he described as "people-oriented," aimed at bettering the generality of the State. He also assured the people-acclaimed governorship hopeful of his Forum's unalloyed support, building up the forthcoming All Progressives Congress primary elections, on to his eventual victory in 2023.

Earlier in his remarks, the APC aspirant, Engr. Nsa Ekpenyong Asuquo said the essence of his visit was to inform the very important stakeholders of his aspiration, as well as seek their support to fly the APC flag in the 2023 governorship election.

Engr. Asuquo reiterated that his decision to aspire for governor of the State is purely a response to the masses' call, rather than any self-serving motive.

He used to opportunity to assure Cross Riverians that, having circumspectly understudied the Governor Ben Ayade-led administration's industrialization initiative, coupled with his long-standing successful efforts in the business world, if given the opportunity to be governor, he will make the State an investors' haven, where commerce and industry, as well as economic prosperity, shall be the hallmarks of his administration.

The Engr. Nsa Ekpenyong Asuquo campaign team is in a series of statewide stakeholders consultations.
