"I have not Stepped Down, I am Still Very Much in the Race", Nkoyo Toyo


News broke out this afternoon that some aspirants from the southern extraction of Cross River State of the PDP have withdrawn from the party's gubernatorial race. 

According to a report published by this medium, the aspirants alleged to have stepped down include, Sir Arthur Jarvis, Hon. Amb. Nkoyo Toyo, Barr Efiok Cobham and Engr. Coco Bassey.

But when Contacted, Amb. Nkoyo Toyo informed our correspondent that she is very much in the race and haven't stepped down. 
"Please I haven't stepped down, I am still very much in the race, Please I want you to let the whole world to know that I haven't stepped down. Even if I don't have the N1m they are giving per delegate, but I have delegates who are willing to vote for me with or without money, Nobody can come and steal my delegate."

The Primary election which was earlier slated to hold, Wednesday, 25th May, was later moved to Thursday 26th May 2022. 

Ambassador Nkoyo Toyo is the only visible female aspirant in the race.
