UNICAL To Sanction Lecturer Caught in Examination Malpractice in Law School

The attention of the Management of the University of Calabar has been drawn to a publication on Social  Media titled "Unical Law Lecturer Nabbed in Law School, Bwari, Writing Exam for Resit Students".

The aforesaid publication written by one Bridget Edokwe disclosed that an Assistant Lecturer in the University of Calabar, Pascal Aboh, was alleged to have impersonated in a resit examination recently conducted in the Law School and is in police custody.

The disturbing report does not resonate well with us as a reputable institution with an obvious laudable and awesome pedigree In law studies and practice evidenced in our giant strides in the world and local arenas.

The University of Calabar as an academic institution unreservedly devoted to all-around excellence frowns at unethical and all forms of malpractices and has demonstrated its zero-tolerance over the years by meting out the necessary punishment.

For now, as an institution, we await the findings of the reported investigation and will appropriately sanction the said lecturer if found guilty.
