Shocking! Dansuki Asked C'Riverians to Vote their Choice Not PDP

Ukorebi Esien | 12th June 2022

The Member of Parliament, representing Akamkpa/Biase Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Daniel Asuquo might have taken everybody by surprise when he sent a lovely Democracy message to Cross Riverians earlier today advising they vote their consciences.

What is more surprising is the fact the MP who is a member of the People's Democratic Party, didn't call on Cross Riverians to support or vote for his party nor it's candidate in the forthcoming election, rather he advised they vote their consciences instead of mortgaging their future.

The Statement reads in part:
"My message and prayers are, in the coming elections, let's stand for the truth to elect good leaders that will lead us well in 2023. When you go out to vote, vote your conscience, and don't mortgage your future and that of your children. Don't sell your conscience for peanuts or possessions, for a man's life does not consist of the abundance of his possession. Let's stand on the side of truth to escape the vengeful judgment of crucified truth. Cross Riverians, and Nigerians, we must stand up and be counted on the side of truth, for where there is no vision, the people perish!"

Dansuki's Democracy Day message to Cross Riverians

Recall that, Daniel Asuquo contested for his party's gubernatorial ticket but failed to clinch it and recently there were rumours that Dansuki will soon be dumping the PDP to contest for the red chambers job under the platform of Labour party.

His democracy day message might just be in line with this plan as he conspicuously refused to canvas for support for his party.
